Birch Planks are a type of wood added in the Update 0.8.0 of MCPE. They are crafted by using Birch Woods blocks. Each block creates 4 planks.
Crafting
- Birch wood will make Birch planks
- 6 Birch planks will make Birch stairs
- 3 Birch planks will make Birch slabs
- 4 Birch planks will make a crafting table
- 2 Birch planks will make sticks
- 3 Birch planks and 2 sticks will make a wooden pickaxe
- 6 Birch planks will make a door
- 6 Birch planks will make a trapdoor
- 8 Birch planks will make a chest
- 2 Birch planks and 4 sticks will make a birch fence gate
Trivia
- Before 0.8.0, when crafting Birch into planks, you would recieve Oak Planks.
- As of 0.10.0, Birch planks are used in crafting birch fences.
