Clay is an Item obtained by breaking Clay Blocks found near or under Water. Clay is non-renewable, and in most Generation Seeds on MCPE, there used to be little to no clay available. Since the introduction of Infinite Worlds, however, it is much easier to find Clay.

Crafting and smelting

• 4 Clay => 1 Clay Block
• 1 Clay => 1 Brick (in a Furnace)

Trivia

• Clay can be used to make Stained Clay.
