Golden Carrots are Food Items that were added in Update 0.12.1. They are important Food items and Brewing ingredients.
Usage
Golden Carrots are mainly used in Brewing to make Potions of Night Vision, but can also be eaten to restore 6 Hunger points (
) and 14 Saturation Points, of which the latter is the highest in the game. The Player can also feed them to Rabbits and Horses.
Crafting
- 8 Golden Nuggets + 1 Carrot => 1 Golden Carrot
Brewing
- 1 Awkward Potion + 1 Golden Carrot => 1 Potion of Night Vision
Trivia
- Golden Carrots being used for Potions of Night Vision is based on the common misconception that eating carrots can improve one's vision.
- They do not grant the same effects as a Golden Apple when consumed by the Player.
