The Iron Shovel is a Tool that was added in Update 0.3.2.

Obtaining

Iron Shovels can be obtained by Crafting them in a Crafting Table.

Crafting

• 1 Iron Ingot + 2 Sticks => 1 Iron Shovel
• 1 Iron Shovel + Any Fuel => Iron Nugget^{Update 1.1} (in Furnace)

Usage

Iron Shovels are used to mine Dirt, Gravel and Sand, to obtain Snowballs, and to make Grass Paths.

Trivia

• It is one of the most durable shovels, second only to the Diamond Shovel.
• Zombies and other Hostile Mobs may spawn wielding an Iron Shovel.
