Lapis Lazuli Ore can be mined to obtain Lapis Lazuli, which is used to make dyes, Lapis Lazuli Blocks, and for Enchanting.

Trivia

  • Even though added in Update 0.1.0, it didn't drop Lapis Lazuli until Update 0.4.0.
  • Lapis Lazuli Ore, like Emerald Ore, is different from other ores in terms of its sprite.
  • Like Coal and Diamond Ore, Lapis Lazuli Ore yields its resource immediately after being mined rather than being smelted to obtain its resource.
  • Lapis Lazuli Ore yields more of its resource when mined, rather than smelted in a Furnace.
  • If smelted, the ore only gives one Lapis Lazuli.
    • However, if obtained by using a Pickaxe Enchanted with Silk Touch, it has to be smelted.
  • Its drops can be increased via Fortune Enchanted Pickaxe.
  • When mined, it drops Lapis Lazuli and Experience.
