Update 0.9.0

Lily Pads are Blocks that were added in Update 0.9.0. Lily Pads only generate in or near Swamp Biomes. They are mainly used as Decorational Blocks, and as a way to walk on Water.

Lily Pads generate naturally in Swamp Biomes, and can be obtained by simply breaking them. They can also be obtained by Fishing.

Lily pads are mainly used as decorative blocks, and can be used to efficiently travel across water without swimming.

  • Lily Pads are the thinnest block in the game, at 1/64th of a solid block.
  • Before Update 0.11.0, the Player could glitch Lily Pads to float on air or rest on a normal block.
  • Lily Pads are one of the most efficient ways to repeatedly get across water without swimming, making a tunnel, or building a bridge.
  • Lily Pads can only be placed on the top of a Water source block.
  • Lily Pads can be broken by Boats that run into them.
