What is going on?!

What happened to the wiki? So many flamewars, emotional outbursts, people threatening to leave, everyone (including me) confused. Why are so many people acting like this?  Does anyone even remember how all this started? We need to STOP the fights. Calm down and look around us. There is no need to use the Internet to rant. Other ways exist. For goodness sakes, use them! I took a beak to avoid getting caught up in this. Maybe we all should. The Wiki can be a better place.
